My makeup has all of a sudden started causing my eyes to swell up but this is something else!

It's so sore and I appear to have blistering on my lids I just want to cry.

they say you can develop an allergy at anytime in your life

is that today you put it on ? if it spreads any get down local A&E

ooooooooooooooh i have had that with all bourgois eye shadow and some loreals, take some piriton or antihistamine as soon as you can and put a cool cloth on them, thats all that has helped me. if it gets any worse i would ring nhs 24 or something though, its really sore but mine has always stopped at that point and not gotten worse! hope you feel better soon

Kell, do you any other allergies? It could be something in the make up that you're already allergic to such as nickel. Most metallic eyeshadows have this in and lots of people are allergic to it but don't realise it's in make up. So if you're allergic to cheap jewellery it's probably the nickel

I used the makeup last night and woke up like that this morning! It's horrible! I've never had an allergy but I guess this is one! I've called nhs direct, they are booking me an emergency appointment with the out of hours doctors because they are concerned by the blistering! I sent that pic to oh this morning as he's been away fishing, he's on his way home cause he doesn't want me to be alone lol!
It feels so weird not being able to open your eyes properly!

It's really sore! The doctor said it's a contact allergy so something I put on my eyes so makeup or something I had on my hands and rubbed on my eyes, I've got tablets, eye drops and cream to ease it but it is kiling me now! Thanks for your messages, very much appreciated! x

I would replace all of your make up, as whatever it is could well have contaminated that with the brushes, etc. (even if it turns out it isnt the make-up) and it wont ever clear up.

I've already warned oh I'm going to need everything new, I'm just going to have to go au natural for a while to help it clear up! I'm pretty sure it is makeup! Thing is I want to cover it up sooo bad, I'm suppose to be shopping in London with my little sister tomorrow, I feel like a freak show but can't let her down

Well it's back again and a million times worse! I know what the problem is now, it's my Ysl touche éclat bloody pain in the arse it's so bloody expensive!
So I'm thinking about complaining but not really sure, I don't have the receipt anymore as we got it at the airport on the way to Mexico, plus clearly I don't want anymore and I'm sure if I did complain I'd be given another product? I just want my money back really

you could email them and ask if they have recently changed anything that they put in the product and explain - you never know they might send a voucher or something as good will

Lol carla, the original post was a few weeks ago, its happened again this part weekend so i thought i'd post on it again!

It is really sore, its not red now tho, i just seem to have swollen scabs for eye lids! Its sexy i tell ya! And the worst part is all i want to do is pick the scabs, but that'll just make it worse!

I've sent a message through their contact us bit online, i didn't get to attach pictures or anything so i'm just going to have to hope they contact me back!
