Since Cerys came back from playschool today she has been a little shite !!! Defying me on everything, climbing up on furniture and trashing things in the process I'm hoping it's because she has a lot more energy from playschool and isn't picking up behaviour from other kids

I never smack her but she has had a smack on the hand today. She has started to laugh when I try and discipline her too Aaaaaaaaaaaarrrrgggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

oh noooooooooooo Tyler went through a stage of being rally defiant and naughty after he started nursery I dunno if it's a "testing" thing to see what she can get away with at home that she can't at nursery maybe? I'm sure it will pass quickly

thanks, yeh I'm sort of guessing that the two are linked. Will have a chat with the play leader just to check all is ok there. She hasn't said anything so I'm assuming it's just a phase xx

im reading the no-cry discipline solution, because i liked the authors (elizabeth pantly) attitude - i find her very easy to relate to and down to earth but not quite as mainstream as gina ford etc

Eugh I'm hearing you!!! Libby has been an absolute monster since she came home from school YESTERDAY! Literally saying NO! to anything and everything, refusing to eat anything, screeching to scare Dexter on purpose and generally just being naughty. I hope to god she wakes up in a better mood tomorrow!!

Yup she was being put down for nap at time. She got made to get back up for time out in the chair and an apology then promptly shoved back into bed. Shes been a sod lately, had to have time out at church the other day too

well ive just ordered that book and will have a good read because I'm losing the will to live

it like it, haven't put it into practice yet but we made such a balls up of the sleep issue i wanted to start reading before we actually needed it this time - although elijah did headbutt me today then burst out crying, i think he surprised and hurt himself i barely had time to say 'no!' before he was being very very sorry

I feel all our your pain, but i don't get the break of him being away at nursery Luckily he's blimming adorable when he's not winding me up, else I'd be in the loony bin.
