First topic message reminder :

he's really not well today. Was ok this morning apart from having 2 dirty nappies by 8am. We took OH to work by the time we got back a 3rd dirty nappy.

He vomited about 11am but he was eating at the time and was coughing so thoyght he'd got something stuck he usually makes himself sick if thats the case.

He's had 2 wet nappies today. This mornings when he woke and a little earlier though not very wet. He's done at least 10 dirty nappies there have been so many i'm loosing count.

And he's been sleeping a bit today bow has a temp not very high only 37.5 he screams and cries when you chnage him as he's so sore. He's had his nappy off today from 11 to 12:30 he pretty much just layed there the whole time.

He has just vomited again and a lot everything from today. He's only had toast and bread sticks but thats all come up.

Doctor said they cant do anything for him but he was not this ill yesterday.

He's currently laying on me on the sofa. And will not drink anything

sorry for rambling

Bless him. kell if hes still vomitty in the am give his tummy a 4 hour rest nil by mouth totally then give him plain water, 5 ml every 3-5 mins approx 1 mouthful. That way his tummy wont reject it, once he starts being mor e hydrated he will be able to take a little bit of food. TBH if you ring nhs direct thats what they will prob tell you as long as he doesnt seem too dehydrated should be the way to go

You can check his hydration by pressing the skin on his chest lightly with your thumb for five secs and counting how long it takes the colour to return - normal is 2-3 secs or less

thanks Mario.

Last time he had a bug we stopped his milk (after seeing a 3rd doctor after 3 weeks of vomiting) and we did and within 24 hours he'd stopped being sick and the next day was fine. he did have some this morning before he was sick but he's only had water today since then and no milk. he's not had milk this evening and he wont have any in the morning either. he's got water in his bottle with and i've heard him have a few sips since going to bed an hour ago.

if he's ok tomorrow and can keep food down he can have his milk back on sunday (he's not that bothered about milk anyway)
