We had our 3D scan last night and it seems that this little madam is breech at the moment.

Im not overly worried as I know she has some time yet to turn, although from what I have been reading, less than 20% of babies are breech by 30 weeks and if baby is breech at this point its 'worth getting your head around the possiblity of a c section'.

I am seeing my midwife in a couple of weeks so I will see what she says.

Has anybody else had a baby breech at this point and then its turned naturally?

Im pretty sure at around 31 wks or even possibly 34 wks Caitlin was breech, just going by a MW palpating me. They never made an issue out of it and she was head down the next week without me doing anything. I do remember reading up & worrying about a c-sec and even getting my head round the idea so much that I was slightly miffed when she turned lol

Try not to worry but mention it to MW when she feeling your tummy, im not sure half the time how they work out what part of baby is what!

i think that second babies..can turn this way and that right up until birth and usually pop down to the right position at the last minute

Sam was still breech at 38 weeks Laura, i had to go for a scan at 39 weeks but he had turned by then, i wouldnt worry xx

Im sure this one was breach at around 30 weeks because I remember thinking holy shit and I said to the dr oh go he's the wrong way and he said no it's fine they have plenty of room to turn and they don't really start "worrying" about it until 38 weeks.

And as you probably know my doctor is a drama queen so...
