He's nearly done it!!
1st night - 1 hour of screaming
2nd night - 30 mins of crying
3rd night - 10 mins of half hearted crying
4th night - 15 mins of quite quiet crying and shouts of "Oi!" followed by blissful snoring

He's done so well! It feels horrible hearing him cry, but I know that I'm popping up to reassure him, and he's not in any pain - even his crying is his"look at me!" cry not angry cry iykwim. So proud of him! He's been sleeping later in the mornings as well which is great at the mo as Noah is waking up at 5am for a drink, so we can all get a few hours sleep after that, it's lovely and he's been so much better behaved and happy during the day, only has 1 tantrum, if that

Thats fantastic hun, i done the same with Noah i think at first took him 30 mins to sleep. Know i just put him down at 7:30 no murmers so well done you.

Im really pleased to hear it.

Dont ever give in on it though. He may try to test you in a few weeks, but dont be fooled, they are clever little monkeys.

Laura - definitely won't give in, I need my evenings back! Next week will be interesting as my OH will be home all week, so Milo might try it on a bit. Might make my OH pretend to leave for an hour or so, so I can get Milo to bed then have a cuppa in peace!

Bloody well done you Mrs. Shame they dont do a controlled whining system for hubbys too, you would have it sorted!
