| OK so I know toddlers have wild imaginations but what happened tonight was just ODD Dan took Izzy upstairs and while he was doing something in the bathroom she came back down the stairs calling me saying there was a person in her room. So I go to the bottom of the stairs and see she has weed in her trousers .... she never does that! So I say is it just Daddy in there and take her back up, she says 'no, there is a person in there' ... so we went in and tried to change the subject but she then said 'look look the person is trying to eat my toes' and lefts her foot up . Then she suddenly looked across the room towards the chimney breast and said 'my friend has gone now' |

| Its a really old house, and although I've sometimes thought odd stuff happens, like I think I see something out of the corner of my eye, or weird noises... I've never put much thought into it...but this has creeped me out a bit
She watched Monsters Inc yesterday but I am sure its not related as she knows they are monsters, and she also knew they came out of the wardrobe, neither of which she mentioned today |

| You guys live in ghost central! The UK is considered one of the most haunted countries on the planet. You cannot walk 2 feet without stepping on someone's grave or live in a home that didn't have several generations of ppl live on/in the property. Do some amateur ghost busting toots! If you have a digital voice recorder, see if you can pick up any EVP's in the room she was in. |

| Lisa, I've said to you before that your house is haunted. From the things you've said have happened and especially now that Izzy has seen someone. Children are more sensitive and can pick up on spirits xx |

| Odd indeed. A ghost with a thing for feet is just plain rude though. Hopefully it wont upset Iz again |

Caitlin used to laugh and talk to someone in her room about a year ago but thankfully she was just babbling at that stage so I reassured myself she was just talking to her teddys. | LOL no, I am sure there's no foot eating ones in Monster Inc! There are definity funny noises, my house is detached and there are no houses close enough to hear neighbours through walls ... and my monitor is digital but sometimes it picks up really odd sounds when there is no one upstairs, not just little noises, but like proper bangs and thumps, and rustling rummaging sounds It's weird though how she seemed a bit upset at first coming downstairs to tell me, but then said 'my friend' Another odd thing ... my dogs have been weird lately, like REALLY odd! Biggles goes to his bowl in the kitchen when theres no one in the kitchen, and starts doing a fierce growl as if another dog is trying to take his food...but theres no one there.. and Denny refuses to go out through the front door ..when I open the door he backs away with his tail between his legs and then cowers and wees if I try to make him walk through it, I have to grab him and carry him out...then once he is outside he is fine |

| oh and another thing, as far as I remember I've never heard Izzy say 'a person' before...she has always used the term 'somebody' .. so it was quite bizarre the way she said 'mummy there is a person in my room' |

| Eek, i would be scared! But then I am a big wuss If it's any help at all, Milo has been claiming every day for about a week that there's a tiger in our front garden, sometimes it's sleeping, today it was eating an elephant, and I'm pretty sure none of that's real - so she could just be having one of those "mad" toddler moments? Anyway, tell her that if "it" eats her foot again she's to tell it sternly to stop, please, it's not ok to eat people's feet, and it's not ok to be scary. So if something is there, it might take the hint and not be scary, and if nothings there it might help her feel a bit in control if that makes sense? I read a really good technique (might have been in one of jo frosts books maybe?) about kids who were afraid of the dark - not exactly the same situation, but it was about reading a fairy book at bedtime, (not sure which book exactly, but one where fairies chase away naughty things would be good) then after the story and before sleeping you get some fairy dust (glitter) and fling it around the room together telling anything naughty to go away. So if she does seem scared of anything being around that might help her? Or you |

| I didnt mention it this morning... but she did!
She said 'there's a person in there' again and pointed to the corner of her room!
I asked if it was her friend and she said yes its Ella Ella
Well my cousins youngest is Ella and I know she loves her, but she's never called her Ella Ella before
Oh well whatever it is or isn't she doesn't seem scared...so that's good! |

| No...she cried in the night twice....very unusual for her, don't normally hear a peep. Only whimpering cries, but I still had to go and settle her. Not sure if it was related cos she didnt actually seem scared or worried when she went to bed and was asleep before I got downstairs! |
