hiii only mee... the past few days ive just been thinking about how much i want to get married! you know that feeling when your just so in love and want everyone to know!! well thats how i feel (even though ben can annoy the hell outa me sometimes) i just know we are supposed to be togther! we've had a few ups and downs the past couple years but always come out 2getha

so anyway as we dont have much money im i looked at the local registry office and altho i never imagined id get married there right now i really dont care..all i want to do is marry the man i love! i dont even want any there other than 2 witnesses and our little man! then to go off on our holiday we have planned next year as a honeymoon just the two of us as hubby and wife and then in a few years time when we're in a better place money wise we could renew our vows with a bigger do for friends and family!

whats everyones views on weddings in registry offices? i know there not perfect but really does it matter? x x x

ideally we would like to fluff off just us the kids and our parents and do it , skip all the financial hassle and the who to invite and who not to invite stress

Im getting married in a registry office. I'm in no way religious so I don't see the point of a church wedding. I just want to get married and then party on down with all my family and friends

we got married in a registry office with just 8 guests, it was great, we had a small meal afterwards then ran off and had mcdonalds for tea then crashed out in a premier inn we were so skint!!! but it was really nice and i would never have it any other way.

We got married in a registry office and had the reception in thepub my oh works in so didnt cost us anything apart from food. FLowers and cake were done as presents. I can without a doubt say my wedding was the most memorable one that any of the guests had ever been to due to the arrival of missy moo lol

It all worked out pretty well. We did accidentally manage to spend about £3000 on it though

Mari's wedding sounds perfect thats exactly what I wanted to do but oh wouldnt let me

ours was about £500 and that was including rings

We got married in a registry office then went to a private club later.
Cost about £1000 in total
FIL paid for my dress
Nan paid for the buffet
Mum paid for the car

We had a lovely church wedding, all the trimmings, etc. but you know what, looking back, it wouldnt have mattered where we got married and who was there. We are married and happy and thats the main thing.

we went for a lovely country hotel...but honestly, i felt so let down by my wedding day(what i remember of it!) and i really wish we'd just said 'fluck you all' and gone for a quickie at the register office and then us and the kids on holiday together

I'd have married mark in our back garden with my nighty and wellies on if that'd have been all we could afford

It kinda think that for some people it's all about the wedding and the actual marriage gets forgotten about.
