Hey ladies. Have any of you ever done home based learning? Im thinking about doing a course to train to be a Nutritional Consultant. The course looks amazing and im so excited about it. But its £350 and between 80-100hrs studying time. Which over a year is only about an hour and half /2hrs a week which isnt bad at all! How dod u go about fitting your studying into your time? On a night once the kids are in bed? Wonder ift be better to maybe go to the library on a saturday morning and get it done then?? x

I started an ou course in November, I will say check out the criteria, as with my course understanding business its a 20 week course which is about 5 hours a week, but most of that is reading, which can be done in bed or evenings.. My first assignment has to be in by Christmas and Im struggling to find time to sit and do it, but I work 3 days, have 3 kids and James works extremely long hours, along with school runs and a 2.5 yr old at home its kind of on the back burner, most of mine is done in the evening. But over the complete course its only 3 assignments by the end of March, so as long as they are all in by then I'm home and dry Smile
Do you have a good childcare network?, does hubby work "normal" hours? i.e.: mon-fri 9-5.. James works all weekends, has 2 days off in the week but one of those is doing paperwork and the other he sees his daughter, so rarely home ( not always a bad thing lol) You will complete it as its of interest to you and you'll make time for it.. I have a tutorial on Thursday and need to ask for an extension - hmmm kinda dreading that but!!
Sorry for the essay.... and good luck xx
