Ok sorry to go on about being ill.

I said about the tooth thing but I'm thinking it is more then that now.

I woke Monday last week with top left jaw pain and thought it was my tooth so went to the dentist who said I've been grinding my teeth pretty badly.

Now I have had a headache since Monday last week, it's a tension headache, my nose hurts at the top, around my ears and my neck hurts too, and if i bend to pick anything up (i.e so my head is upside down) all the pains i currently have feel heavy and are worse until i stand back up right.

Today i've also started to feel and hear crackling noises in my nose. Up until yesterday I had a hell of a lot of mucus (sorry tmi)

I'm going to see the doctor tomorrow as i'm there with H anyway but do you think that's what it is? I had a cold the week before the pain appeared on the monday.

If you do think it is it, can you recommend anything i can do to relieve it

It sounds like it might be, I find it hurts most under my eyes. Sudofed helps and if you have any try some steam inhalation with Vicks x

Olbas oil or Vicks, steam is good too, so a hot shower will help clear, but antibiotics from docs work too

Vicks and hot showers/baths but take a tip from me... I thought I'd be smart and smother my chest in vicks, chuck a.couple of tablespoons in the bath for good.measure then get in the bath and breathe in the steam... DO NOT DO THIS OMG!!!! It felt like my minky was on fire it was soooo stingy and sore for ages!! Just stick some in a bowl of boiling hot water then put a towel over your head.

The dr gave me this saline nasal spray which helps as I used to get sinustitus (sp) quite often and it sounds like thats what you have xxxxx

i love menthol crystals from the chemist , they work wonders , sometimes i dont do the bowl thing but jump in shower and put a couple crystals in a sink of hot water so the whole bathroom is steamy ans minty
