well Jamie pooed all over our duvet and pillows today to the point where I really thought they couldn't be saved (esp as we've had them almost 7 years and they were cheap anyway) so had to buy a new set. It also looks like the fridge freezer is on its way out. Its broken so much that the door barely closes. Admittely we've also had that almost 7 years and it was second hand anyway as someone gave it to us free when we got married so its not done badly. In some ways it would be better replaced as its an old one and its massive but doesn't have much space inside. Now we can get seperate ones to go under our counters. Its just all money to come out. There is some in our savings but this is an expensive time of year anyway (most of our family have birthdays now) and its just something we could do without

oh no, its always something isnt it!!

I know the feeling though, yesterday I went to get the washing from the tumble dryer - its in like a conservatory type thing and everywhere was covered in condensation, despite the hose being hung out the window!! Then looked at the washing machine which had a load on and water was pouring out of the drawer!!

Thankfully after looking at both of them closely it was something really simple (a sock in the filter of the washing machine and the hose not in the right position on tumble dryer) but we thought for a while we'd need to repair/reaplce them - the tumble dryer is inly 3 months old as well

Fingers crossed the things you replace will last another 7 years xx
