What's your experience this Christmas?

Mine is AWFUL!

I've been waiting for something that I know was sent almost 3 weeks ago..and things I've sent well before the last posting date haven't arrived yet either.

I am waiting for so many things to be delivered and have almost given hope of them all arriving - and there is no way I can afford to go out and buy replacements so it looks like I am going to be looking like a scrooge this year as only 3 of all my gifts have arrived!

I don't know what's going on with Royal Mail, I know lots of casual workers havent been paid due to some error and that lots have walked out cos of that - but surely thats not the only cause?!

Everything I've sent or received seemsto have been fine. Is it something you've posted Lisa or something you've ordered online? Maybe it's where you have got it from not posting it out? It's annoying when something your waiting for ESP when it's for someone else. X

The parcel I sent to my sister in Singapore arrived fine. However, I did have a parcel to collect that they lost, then phoned to say they'd found it and could I come and collect it. When I did they said it had be redelivered the day before (which it hadn't) and it took them ages to find it again

No Steph its lots of things ... stuff I've sent abroad hasn't arrived, or in the UK, plus all bar 3 of the things I have ordered ... 7 parcels I am waiting for, not the same company and theyve said despatched so I cant see them all telling porkies!

Tamara I had that happen once (was Marios parcel) they didn't get it to her for some reason, then tried to deliver to me but I was out, so I took the card a bit later (as was on holiday) and theyd only gone and lost the thing! They tried to make out it would be sent to the 'return address' I was like erm I was the return address cos it was me that sent the parcel in the first place!

I don't think its a local postie issue, I'm still getting normal post like letters and cards .. just no parcels!
