| Just wanted to say that after the last two weeks I have an immense amount of respect for you (well I did anymore but more so). I don't know how you do it. I love my son but am just about to go mad. Work has come at just the right time. I need the break |

| Maybe its because it's still new for me but I really thought I'd be happier to work. I feel like I'm being pulled in too many directions and am expecting alot from myself, all the while suffering horrible neusea and getting pretty much no help at home. I'm thinking along the lines of quitting because I'm so stressed out of an evening! |

The days I work, they all know that the slave is busy else where and they need to fend for themselves. The housework doesn't get done but hey it can wait til I'm off. You need to get some support and if you can't get it then I'd pack up the job if you're not happy. Xx |

| I always used to think i wouldn't be able to 'cope' as a SAHM, but after being at home for 9 months now, on the whole i still enjoy it. There was too much going on in our lives for me to be working too, so we are all far happier. If i had never gone back to work though i'm not sure i would appreciate it as much as i do now.
Kell, i am sorry things are not working out for you at the moment. You have a lot on! Have you spoken to your OH and asked him/given him an idea of things he can do to help? Some things just have to take a back seat, you can't do everything honey x x x |

b*llocks to that! if im at work the housework gets done, it just aint by me you are a better slave than me! being at home all the time really is knackering but it's nice, after working nearly full time for a couple of months at the end of last year i am SO grateful for being at home now x |

| Between Jamie, work, prepping and marking housework is well down my list.
My ideal would be to work part time I think. Don't think I could cope with being home all the time (there's already a part of me wondering how I'm going to get through the 6 week holidays) and I like using my brain at work and don't feel I do at home but it would be nice to have a bit more time with him.

| crack that whip pesky teenagers...yeah ok if theres nobody there i SUPPOSE the housework will have to wait. i kind of don't see housework as entirely my responsibility (i did when elijah was a proper baby) because tbf i wouldn't expect someone at work all day to be doing housework at the same time - and i consider entertaining elijah all day to be almost the equivalent of being at work, so i do expect mr.mari to do some when he gets in and to help out. |

| Hmmm, you kinda hit a nerve there as cooking, cleaning, housework, shopping etc is my job oh will do anything I ask him to do but its him doing me a favour! I suppose its become my job because I only work 3 days a week and it sort of become my job to do it all on my days off. Maybe you can here and crack your whip and sort oh and man child out? |

| man child didn't mean any offence pen, but i genuinly think that looking after a toddler is (at times) harder work than lots of jobs - and that's my main purpose when i am at home all day. Yep i do the dishes, laundry etc but if mr.mari is here or makes a mess or whatever there's no chance i will clean up after him - i do expect him to do a fair amount (that being, if i have more time i will do it). we both need an hour or two off at the end of the day and if that means both tidying up after tea/bathing elijah etc etc then that's what needs to be done! (in fact you are better than me cos i haven't been to work since october ) |

| I do think they are hard in very different kinds of ways. When I was off I ended up having nearly a year off cos of sickness as well as mat leave and its mentally exhausting.
But now Im back i think mentally im better off (far less likely to have a beebies related nervous breakdown!!!)but physically im on my knees as I do 13 hour nights but still do id say 75% of the housework (neil does the laundry, the recycling and will sometimes clean the kitchen or hoover if i ask while i do all dusting, tidying, bathroom, most hoovering, changing beds, shopping, putting laundry away etc etc) as well as seeing to awen on my nights off.
So generally id say being a mum is something that not enough ppl appreciate be it a working mum or SAHM.

| I think all mom's, whether they stay at home..or work outside the home deserve a round of applause daily for all we do for our families. One isn't easier or harder than the other, just different scheduling. Only good thing when I worked full time was hanging with grown ups..coming home to a house that stayed clean as no one was in it to mess it up...oh..and of course the pay cheques..I miss having my own money, but then again..it sure is fun spending Shaynes! |

Yay us That's how I feel. I guess everyone is different anyway. To some people its what they love. Certainly it can be hard being at work. I personally just find that easier than constantly watching Jamie |

| I enjoy doing my 24 hours a week, it gives Noah more time with family and daddy. I also like wage every month. I couldnt not work anyway we wouldnt be able to live with bills etc. Unfortunatley OH dont earn enough for both. I do enjoy my maternity leave tho role on its something to look forward too haha.
I do wish i done set days so i could put Noah in nursery once a week, but its just a waste if i am at home. He goes to play group once a week.
