i'm doing ok...still same situation, except we now have joint JSA claim. so we're £140 better off each month.
we've both been applying for jobs, but getting nowhere so far. applied for a really good receptionist job yesterday...i'd love to get it!! keep fingers crossed!!

2012 isn't starting off too well health wise for me and benji though...he kept projectile vomiting and got rashes on his legs last week...so we took him to out of hours (viral bug)

the rash turned into red blotches on his legs and around his belly...took him to docs and he has eczema got bath oils and cream.

i have had terrible bad feet, always have had them. went to docs...he has sent me to a bio techno(something or other!!) big long words lol bit like a chiropodist probably have to have wedges and some form of strap to wear on them on a nighttime.

Oh dear..How's Benji now? Is he on the mend?

thanks for getting back to me ladies.
benji is a different kid atm. i dont know where my happy lil boy is
he has 11/12/13 hours sleep most nights, then is awake for 2 hours and has another 1/2 hours sleep...then at about 2pm he is tired again...and cries until 4ish then naps til tea time
i know he is teething, but his personality has changed completely!!!
is this normal? he has the whole toddler tantrums and i know thats "normal" but the past 2 weeks he is just exhausted all the time xx

If he is fighting off a bug he will sleep a lot, it's a good thing and it's just his body recovering.
How's his eating? Might also be a growth spurt, I do remember Oliver going through bouts of sleeping loads when he was having a little growth spurt. It only ever lasted a week or so and he'd be eating loads too.

If your still worried about his sleeping just nip him to to the docs. There's no harm in getting him checked over

Heyyy lou. Ive missed u! I havent been on here much either cos im so busy and knackered on a night i cant keep my eyes open to go on lappy!

Benji sounds pretty normal to me. Alfie sleeps 13 hours or so at night and about 3 hrs during the day.
