I remember way back someone saying they had done a breast feeding course? I'm sure it was one of us, Mari seems to pop into mind but I could be wrong?
Anyway if it was someone here how did you go about getting onto the course? Was it through hv or off your own back?
It would be brilliant for my uni application next year and good for me as a breast feeding mum!

Kell, the local surestart centre had a contact for this - it was a lady running the bf group of new mums, she was training up bf counsellors. Maybe try asking your HV - they should have the person to get in touch with? And/or the breast-feeding network, La Leche League (sp) website or similar? Hth x

I would talk to a hv or surestart centre. My hv visitor asked me to do the course next year sometime and told me to go to the breastfeeding group surestart runs and talk to the ladies there about the course

I did one so possibly me lol it was an 8 week course but i attended a young mums center at the.time where it was held. it was a breastfeeding counceller that.run the class...maybe your hv or mw would know? x
