OMG! Only a week to go until I go to my Buddy Holly tribute concert!!!!
I was on rota to work late Thursday and work have strict rules about swapping shifts for social events, so braved and phoned my manager today and expained the situation. This is something I have been dying to go to forever and this may be my only chance.
He said as its me its fine. A lot of the others are always trying to swap their late weekend shifts to go out drinking, but I have never asked to swap and my manager even said he knows how much it means to me as I am the only who works there that sings songs that the residents can join in with!
Oh and separate 1... do we have the anon posts anymore? Been looking and can't find them

Hehe, my mum loves buddy Holly, he's was great, we grew up listening to all his songs.
