| just wondering what your baby/toddler has for snacks? i can't seem to get elijah to eat fresh fruit at all except banana, he just pokes it around looking disgusted i think it's the texture... for snacks he has things like little cheese sandwiches, rice cakes, organix finger foods, bit of dry toast (will only eat it dry) or a fruit pot (squished fruit) - is that ok? also how much do you give your lo? i usually just give half a slice of bread/bit of cheese, or a couple of finger foods, but yesterday i gave elijah the whole bag (cos he really really wanted it) and he ate half the bag, then ate all of his tea...maybe im not giving him enough?! |

| He is still quite young so I wouldnt worry just yet that he doesnt like fruit. Aimee is a massive fruit fan and I can give her practically anything. I buy those sealed mini bags of fruit (apple/grapes, etc) for her as they are so handy. She also has a massive supply of bananas on the go as she loves them. She also likes: Fromage Frais, raisins, cheese, and most of the bits listed above x |

| Fromage frais (little stars. Sometimes 2 pots if she kicks off after the first one), breadsticks (one full one usually before she gets bored, sometimes an extra half but sometimes she'll only eat half then crush it into the carpet), raisins (a mummy-sized handful), toast (whole piece), half a crumpet (too difficult without teeth), pitta and humous, bag of pom-bears...
Mostly though it is just fruit because she loves it. it started off just grapes and melon but as her teeth have developed her tastebuds seem to have done too. The fruit lady at the market always gives her a plum now, which is lovely because it keeps her quiet for the whole way home! |

| hmmmm very helpful thank you ladies i keep forgetting to get dried fruit, eli has nearly 8 teeth now so should manage to munch that - i think it's just the texture of fruit he objects to! he looks totally appalled whenever he touches it but if it's pureed/in something he can't get enough. he munched through some fish fingers today so i could always chuck one or two in the oven but it's a bit of effort for just a snack given up on ham for now cos he chewed it for well over 20 minutes and it still looked the same - elijah kept taking it out of his mouth, looking at it and trying again maybe try some chicken lumps though...but yeah raisins and dried fruit for sure i will get some tomorrow |

| One suggestion:- Keep your baby's travel snacks in a good cooler with ice packs, to make sure that they remain safe for him to eat & Avoid very messy, crumbly foods, unless you're going to be feeding your baby out in the open for example :- in a park where dropped crumbs won't be an issue!!!! |
