| does it really make that much of a difference? Im getting stressed cos dita had her feet measured yest and not only is she a half size she's got really narrow feet, they said a E because thats the smallest they do. So that basically cancels out shoes from anywhere but clarks, but i am not getting paid at the end of month due to being off sick so cant really afford 70 quid for 2 new pairs of shoes for her.... so should i just forget the width and look for some 6.5s somewhere? i think tk maxx do them in halfs! |

| Sophia is an E too. According to clarks....
Startrite are better for narrow feet and do smaller than E.
I do know clarks do one or two pairs of their Doodles in E fitting, think they're only about £18 so that might help out a bit.
Personally, I do stick to clarks and startrite because the wider shoes can cut across the front of toes and hurt over time(i have narrow feet myself and have learnt this from experience, also i used to work for K shoes, part of clarks, many moons ago) but it is very expensive when working on a budget. Which is why i dont get more than one pari at a time as it's only 6-12 weeks and she is out of them and into the next size!
Maybe try on the tk maxx ones and see how they fit her over the front of her foot.

| Have you tried Hush Puppies? They do half sizes im sur, and also have shoe liners to do the right size width. I get Lilys from Hush Puppies. There is an ebay place who does them:

| Libby was measured last saturday and is 6.5D!! I dont think anywhere do them as narrow as a D so what more can I do than buy her 'normal' shoes that fit as good as possible?? (at the moment shes got some converse boots that seem nice and narrow). Its a nightmare though. x |

| We went to a clarks outlet near us, the girl that measured them seemed really competent (we went somewhere else the week before and she seemed useless!!)You can see Libby's feet are really narrow so I do believe the measurement she gave us and as they dont go as narrow as that so she wasn't telling me so she could sell me some shoes iykwim. When I'm looking at shoes I look for narrow styles, it's hard getting the lovely pumps etc. in the summer though - we have to get ones that have a velcro strap rather than just the elastic. x |
