Isla is having her first hour settling session at a nursery. She has barely spent any time away from me since i finished work over a year ago. Bless her she gave me a kiss and waved me off. Will be interesting to see what she's like when i pick her up... probably ignore me!

So during term time i will have a whole Thursday morning to myself each week whilst both girls are at nursery! Ooh what to do with this time!

Ellie has started pre school 3 mornings per week and one of the days is Thursday and I'm off work today I left my car at pre school and walked home and then cleaned and cleaned and cleaned and then walked back to get my car.

Haha I'm not suggesting you do this but just thinking it would be nice if lived closer to eachother as we could have had coffee and cake mornings xxx

Yes that would be lovely if we did live closer Pen, not sure i can get to Liverpool and back in time to pick her up..! I am thinking i will drop the girls off in my running gear then head off for a long run, back for a shower and then some sewing... after a few weeks this will probably digress to sofa and tv time! x x x

Sophie also goes to pre school on a Thursday how did Isla get on Today?

I was worried today was the first time Sophie had been to preschool since being potty trained was worried she wouldn't ask for toilet but she did twice

How did she get on? It must have been great having some time to yourself

She got on really well thank you. She had played with various different things, she just kept asking her key worker to go with her to a new area to play with something else. I have booked her in for a 2 hour session next Tuesday (will also give me and Immy a bit of 1:1), before commencing with her 3.5 hour session on the Thursday.

That's great the Sophie got on well with her potty training at preschool. I have to say i think just the hour has upset Isla's potty training. She pooped her pants after breakfast and didn't get to the potty in time for a wee when we got back from nursery. Has been fine since, but these are the first accidents we have had since training.


Definitely looking forward to 3.5 hours to myself next week. Particularly as Steve is in America all week!

That is brilliant Fran! I wouldnt wrry too much about the potty training, you have to remember soophie has been going to this preschool since just after here second birthday and it is very small and I still worried about her.

Immy will love the one on one time :-)
