I would like to say yes and may well work for you but we moved Robert into his room around 4 months because of the same reasons and he still doesnt sleep through, he has slept through around 5 times maybe a bit more but he is almost 1, god know how much sleep i've missed out on! He also has a dummy so like you i put a few in the cot with him, sometime i get to the stage where i put him our bed as i know he will sleep without waking up until 7, some nights i just need my sleep!!

I think it may well do Gracie loved being in her own room and now wont settle if we are with her, this is because no matter how quiet you are she will sense that there is someone else in the room x

ava was the same shes coming up for 7 months now, we went on hols last week and had to put her in a different room because the travel cot didnt fit in ours and she slept through every night, we moved her into her room as soon as we got home and fingers crossed shes slept through till at least 6am every morning. its definately worth a try.

I agree. Alfie used to wake 3 or 4 times a night until i moved him into his own room. he now goes down at 7.30 and sleeps through till at least 7.30 the next morning

Thats gr8 news. I think if shes in a seperate room your not as in much of a rush to see to her every whimper. Sometimes babies do wake but the key is to let them self settle. Sounds like shes doing gr8 :-)

Aimee started to get unsettled in her sleep at 3 months in our room.

I moved her to her own room and she slept so well.

It is really worth trying it.

She did go through a stage at about 8 months of waking at 5am and I used to go in and put the dummy in, then sit outside for 15 mins for her to do it again,, etc. this went on for 2 hours every day for a week... but I cracked it after that and then she started going until 8am!

But.. then I went back to work and now she gets up at 6/6.30!
