Ok - who is planning on getting married? I'll start:

I am getting married 3rd September 2011 I set the date last year but with being pregnant with Hannah then planning her christening and settling in with a toddler and a newborn I couldn't even think about wedding planning. I didn't think there was that much to it anyway - how wrong was I?? I never thought I would worry over what shade of pink a napkin was or what angle it is arranged on a plate

I'm really getting into this whole planning thing now - with a little help from a friend (you know who you are ) but I can feel myself getting rather over excited already

Have got a ton of questions too so no doubt will end up taking over this forum but hopefully my questions will be the same as other peoples and hopefully the answers will help more than just me

congrats debs...shame we didn't meet up the other day, we could've chatted weddings! lol

not sure on date of wedding yet, am wanting a NYE one but not got my heart set on it tbh...

i'm not too fussed with getting married, we've lived together and had the kids so i'm happy but he wants it...so i'm trying to make it as good as possible

I'm not! Although I did plan my wedding in 2002, even though he turned into a knob jockey - the wedding was pretty darn good!

We organised it all ourselves as was done at a huge country house that was basically a venue and nothing there!

Congratulations all !, my wedding day was definately one of the best days of my life and i'm sure it'll be yours too. x

Congrats to every1 getting married. I will spend loads of my time in this section too cos i love talking about weddings!! They get me so excited! I got married 8th August last yr and had a small wedding (i woiuld say). I had 36 people to the day and 120 to the evening and we done alot of it ourselves (invites, table decorations etc) So if any1 wants any advice im happy to help!

Thanks ladies and Congratulations Marie. I think a wedding abroad would be lovely but as you say - probably just as expensive (if not more) as doing it here in cold rainy England . Where are you thinking of doing it hun?

Kenty - it is a shame we didn't get to meet last week, I'm still gutted now - although a little less after reading a few mums and kids got a bug . Glad your LOs weren't affected.

ooooh I LOVE weddings (you know that Debs!)

You can bore the life out of me with anything wedding related!

I had a fab time planning our big day and managed to do it even though we lived 5 hours away and we only went to visit once in the whole time we were planning it!

Turned out great though!

Kefolos - a wedding on the beach - bliss ive never dreamt about my wedding or even wanted to get married until now, i always believed you didnt need to marry someone to show just how much you love them, but i guess that was untill i met my other half ,

im getting married
on the 5th feb 2011 still dont know where the venue is yet due to registry office moving but nearly everythin else is sorted! my sis gettin married aswell so everyone helping her and excited for her so done it all on my own with no one excited for me! but im excited enough for the whole of the island lol!
just need to save about 800 now and try and find some friends as at the moment the guest list i can count on 1 hand
