I know this probably sounds like a stupid question but what is the best way to heat up pureed food? I've been pureeing loads of veg as I've just started weaning but we haven't got a microwave to warm up food after it's been defrosted. I'm only warming up a little bit at a time so has anyone got any tips? Thanks xxx

omg no microwave how do you cope?

in that case I would let it defrost completely over night and then can you heat it in a bowl that's in a pan of boiling water?

I dont know how else to reheat it!

Thanks I'll have a go. We've never had a microwave so I'm just used to not needing one! I'm beginning to think it would make life easier if we got one though! xx

Lol, my microwave broke last month and we were a bit tight on cash at the time, so I said 'ohh, we can cope until payday - easy!!' How wrong was I?? i'd gone and bought herb potatoes that you steam in the micro for tea Heating up food Icon_rolleyes ended up having to roast them.
Needles to say we bought a cheap one a day later lol

I would either pop it in boiling water to warm through (for veg). For meats etc i'd pop it in a small pan of water and bring to boil to heat through thoroughly Heating up food Icon_wink

I must admit I use our microwave for re-heating everything.

But you can always pop it on the hob for a few seconds to warm it through if you dont have one.
