| I've put her in an outfit this morning that she was wearing before christmas!!! Thats 10 months ago and it still fits her fine It seems weird that people say children grow out of clothes so quickly so why spend so much on them yet Libby can wear hers for a year!! Oh well at least I can justify buying Next clothes to Simon now

aww bless her, Chloe is the same with some of hers, I put a cardi on her the other day that is 6-12 months. The only exception is her feet, she grows out of her shoes so quickly, her size 5's are getting too small now. She's going to me a midget with big clown feet at this rate

I've found since my LO hit 1yr, he's hardly grown at all. My friend gave me loads of her sons hand-mi-downs 12-18mth and he's still fine in them, appart from the Next jeans are about a cm to short for my liking Same with shoes, I haven't had to buy new shoes since beginning of the year

Ah at least it's not just Libby then Mandy, yeah the clothes Libby was wearing today were 9-12 - she's nearly 2!!! The trouble is I get bored of the clothes she has and want to buy her some different ones Zee, we've just had Libby's feet measured and she's finally grown (been desparate to buy some new shoes!! ) and is now a 4 and a half in clarks (probs a 4 in normal shoes) xx

lily-ann actually went down a clothes size she used to wear 18-24...she's not in 12-18 for the most part! i think after a year they just slow down alot lily-ann is nearly 2 and has size 5 feet susan so feet wise it sounds like libby is pretty normal(just realised libby is only a month behind lily-ann, i thought there was a bigger age gap)

I thought Aimee was ready for 18-24 months, but in looking at them, they do seem a bit big and she could probably have stayed in the 12-18 months a bit longer. I also think it depends on the make. I got her some jeans from Next the other day which are 18-24 months and I seriously think it will be another year before she can fit in them! x

Im gutted ive brought Tayla loads of winter stuff in 18-24months and its all huge still I like to buy ahead (next sales ) but their sizes are so big, by the time they fit her it will be summer boo hoo! Also we took her to have her feet measured when she first started walking (12months, but she wouldnt wear the shoes ) and shes still the same size now just got a little wider...shes a 4 1/2 G but was 4/12 F. I cant wait for her to be a 5 as i can get her shoes anyway then! But a 4 is too small and 5s to big so have to stick to clarkes for now.

Thanks everyone Yeah Next clothes are huge, shes definately only in 9-12 months in their clothes. Does anyone else find that bottoms seem to be huge but tops are about right (ish)? I can't seem to buy her outfits because the top gets too small before the trousers even fit her

oliver has only just gone up into 9-12 and if i remember rightly, he will probibly be in them for a while, i was watching a vid of leo a couple of months back at about 18months in the same 9-12 month dungarees oliver was wearing today leo was only slightly under average at that age, so i think they just slow down a lot after 1 yr xx

Well she literally seems to have grown overnight (well probs a few nights ) but anyway I've put her in a couple of pairs of trousers that she was wearing comfortably 10-14 days ago and now they are too short, and I mean like 2 or 3 cm!!! Finally getting to go shopping for her this weekend - I haven't bought any new clothes for her since before the summer so I'm VERY excited

Elsie is 17 months and still in some 6-9 months clothes. Like you I have got bored of them so went out and bought her all new winter clothes. I bought most in 12-18 months though as 18-24 looked so big. I did get her a dress in Next which 18-24 but only just fits. She seems to have had a growth spurt in the last couple of days as her tracky bottoms and jeans are too short now. Her feet don't seem to be growing. I got her a size 3 pair of shoes when she started walking a few months ago and they still seem a bit big for her!x

Laura - Next clothes do seem to be big, Libby's kind of in between their sizes at the moment (and that's between 9-12 and 12-18 ) Terri - ooooo really? Hmmm now where's my nearest Next? Em - Yep need to spend some £££'s on her, bit of a bugger really as I was hoping to get some maternity clothes this month, oh well little girly clothes are so much nicer and your right - the BEST things come in small packages Kazza - sounds similar to Libby, she has been in size 3 since March up until a couple of weeks ago - was desparate to buy her some new shoes!!! xx

Glad it's not me that worries about this. Imogen is still in mostly 6-9months/9-12months clothes. She has a few 12-18months tops but to be honest they look so silly cause they are huge. Trousers wise she's still in quite a few 3-6months

Have been putting dita in size 3-6 without realising lol! x |
