My dad has jst rang to say that hes not coming to Alfies christenig on Sunday as he is still not happy about the fact that he didnt give me away at my wedding last year!

Him and my mam divorced when i was 3 and we have never been close at all. I asked my Grandad to give me away as he has always been the main male role model in my life and my dad went off it and refused to come to the wedding and we fell out.

When i had Alfie i text him to let him know and he came into hospital to see him, and paid a few more visits so i thought he must have let things lie.

But no i get this phone call this morning. Im so annoyed - this is meant to be Alfies day. I cant believe it -now not only has he not attended his only daughters wedding but he hasnt seen his only grandchild get christened.

His loss!!

Aww thats not nice hun - even if he hasn't forgiven you (I completely understand why you had your grandad give you away - I would have done the same), he shouldn't take it out on Alfie which is, in esence, what he is doing. xx

He needs to grow up and act his age hun. Don't let his childish behaviour ruin a lovely day. Put him to the back of your mind, as you say it is totally his loss xxx

That's so mean of him! Like the others have said it's his loss. He's only doing it to upset you, alfie won't even realise. Don't let it upset you! fck him!!
