PostSubject: Poor chicken   Poor chicken EmptySun Oct 03, 2010 11:38 pm

She doesnt seem quite right the last few days. Cant put my finger on it though. She feels hot to the touch even though shes got no temp, her hands and head are roasting, shes clingy-following me round the house to hold my leg, crying if im out of sight and climbing on me for cuddles every chance she gets, shes sleeping LOADS for her, 3 hours of naps yesterday followed by 11 1/2 hours sleep at night and already been down for a 2 hour nap (and counting, shes still sparko) today and not really too hungry, she skipped snacks and lunch without a second thought yesterday thugh she did eat her dinner. I know shes cutting molars atm but think shes got some low level virus puttering along too. Lots of calpol and cuddles til shes better methinks. Anyone elses LOs a bit under the weather atm? C has no sniffles, cough, sore ears to note just generally not quite herself

Awwww bless her.

I hope she feels better soon.

Its horrible when they are like that and you cant diagnose what the problem is. Aimee was like it a few days ago and kept coughing, but it sounded more like a habit than an actual cough.

I hope she's feeling better soon too..it just doesn't sound the same to hear she's not up to her usual 'stunt' antics Sad

It could be her teeth causing the trouble. Oliver got really bad once, and he was the same. He felt hot to touch but no temp, slept a lot and only ate tiny bits of fruit.

Lets hope that all it is and nothing bad brewing. xxx

How you have described Caelyn is how Bethany sometimes gets when she is teething with thiese horrid molars. Bethany was like this for about 3 days at the end of August and then hey presto another molar appeared!!

Aw poor C, hope she gets back to her normal self soon.

Yesterday Libby was off her food slightly and today she looked pale, didn't touch her lunch, had a nap at 4 for about and hour and when she woke up she was crying/whinging. I thought it was because she was tired but she wouldn't eat her dinner, turned her nose up at her yogurt and didn't want her Nesquik (that was it, we knew she wasn't feeling well then!!). We gave her some Calpol and put her to bed at half 6. I just hope it's a 24 hours thing and she's ok when she gets up tomorrow.

xx

Well she does seem a bit brighter today, her hands and head have cooled off a bit. She was crying a lot in her sleep over night and im pretty exhausted cos i went to bed at 1 after my shift, was up to her crying twice then she woke at 5. But shes gone back to her usual routine of sleeping one nap at 11ish for 90 mins and has eaten better today. Oh and she drank 15oz of milk when she woke at 5!

Yay that's great that C's a bit better Very Happy

Libby has been really poorly today, she's hardly eaten and has been so sleepy Crying or Very sad I think its the last of her teeth coming through but I just don't know. She went to bed at half 6 again tonight and I've given her some Calpol which hopefully will help her sleep better than last night (she kept waking up every hour or so).

I hate it when she's ill, I feel so helpless Sad x
