| Due to illness etc Isla is only due to have her MMR jab tomorrow, and i am so scared its untrue!!! Do all children get ill after it? Has anyone had any experiences I should be aware of? Shes gonna hate me isnt she? Shes still got a horrible snotty cold, is she ok to have it??? You'd think i'd know, but im rubbish with vaccines so give them a very wide birth in work!!! I feel like crying!!!!!!!!! |

| Imogen had no issues at all after the mmr, she laughed when they injected her and she was exactly the same after, no crying, no illness, nothing. Try not to stress and i think kids pick up on it and stress too. Hope Isla is fine after xx |

| Awww Lisa, I was exactly the same I dreaded Bethany having hers. Has Isla had a temperature with her cold?? They won't give the jab if she has had a temp within 48 hours. Bethany was pretty much ok after having hers although the day after she was quite sick and I ended up taking her to hospital to get checked out. The Docs at the hosp said it was probably a bug but no-one else she had contact with (me, John, nursery pals) had, had a bug and her nappies stayed normal so I personally think it was perhaps to do with the MMR, as you know your own child and Bethany isn't a sickly baby so I think it was too much of a coincidence that she'd had her jab the day before. Also, about 10 days after she became grumpy for a few days - I think this is quite a common side effect. Hope Isla is ok. xx |

| Izzy was poorly afterwards, she got a rash on her bum and legs which did seem to last a while but didnt make her feel bad, she only had a temp for a short time that calpol sorted a while later she also had mumps swollen glands, and was a little run down but nothing serious
Dont worry though - even if she gets a few side effects its nothing compared to what she would get if you didn't vaccinate her! |

Thats weird as Immi had cried a little bit at the others but she didn't seem to care about the mmr, just laughing lots. Guess it's different for each baby |

| Chloe slept through hers! She fell asleep in the car and I put her in the puschair and they were going to wake her but I told them to leave her be and they did it in her leg, she didn't even flinch. Chloe had a rash a couple of weeks after and was a bit feverish, but not too bad. Just think if she is ill, it's nothing compared to how ill she could be if you didn't get it done x |

| Amelia was pissed off at the nurses and had a cry for about a min but that was her last thought of it and was absolutely normal afterwards, not even a slightly high temp, nothing. I hope Isla's as lucky as Amelia was x |

| I gave Hayden a dose of Calpol an hour before we went.. he never had any symptons or fevers or anything.. Good luck..and by having their jabs you are protecting them although it seems mean really its not |
