| Seems to be hereditary in my family..my mom..myself and all my sisters seem to suffer from terrible rashes and oozing sores when skin contact is made with any nickel. Now I seemed to have passed it on to Madisyn. She is a cosmetic jewelry buff and now seems be be getting rashy after wearing it. I was lead to believe that to avoid these allergies, you should never have your child's ear pierced with anything but gold, silver, or surgical steel. Have any of you suffered with this and have you noticed if you passed it on to your kids? Just wondering. xxx |

| My husband has it, he usually gets it from belt buckles so we coat them in clear nail varnish before he wears them , seems to do the trick. |

| I have it but don't think I've passed it on to my kids. I can't even wear metalic eye shadow as it contains nickle.
I can wear stainless steel though as in watches etc.
Can maddy wear it for a short time? I'm ok for a few hours.

| She can wear it for a max of about 2 hours. Which was how I started out when I was younger..now..just like you Milly..I cannot even have it graze my skin without getting a reaction. Just sucks because they make some of the coolest cosmetic jewelry that I would love to be able to wear. I guess the bonus is..when she's older..she will be able to tell if her bf or hubby is a cheapskate! |

| I suppose that's the benefit, i can't wear cheap stuff
just wondering if anyone knows of any fake tan that doesn't irritate! I use to be able to wear that shimmery stuff but now it all seems to bring me out in a rash! |

| I used Vichy..was the only stuff that didn't seem to bug my skin. May pay a little more for it, than say with jergens or coppertone...but it's worth it. |
