My in-laws are doing my head in _
PostSubject: My in-laws are doing my head in   My in-laws are doing my head in EmptyMon Oct 11, 2010 5:06 am

My bro in law and his wife are really getting on my goat at the mo. Over the last few weeks ever status I post on fb they have done or had happen and there's has been better/worse.

I posted our trip to Tiffany's off course they had been and bought so much more than us. I shouldn't be surprised as this has been going on for years. At our wedding he asked hubbys auntie who's wedding was better ours or theirs. His wife then said while at the reception that neither of them really wanted to be there, she made the mistake of saying this to a good friend of mine.

He has always been competitive every time oh gets promoted he has to do something to outshine his wee bro. A few months ago they had a miscarriage I offered to be a shoulder/someone to talk to and basically got completely blanked.

They have a little girl who spends every weekend since she was born with her parents so they can go out on the piss, which really pee's me off. They don't realise how lucky they are to have the gift of a child and it really winds me up. This summer their little one was palmed off on the grandparents for her summer hols despite the fact that she doesn't work

Sorry rant over

They just sound sad, just be glad your not that insecure about your life that you have to compete with others constantly

Some people are just competitive. Rise above it, they are not worth it. They clearly don't realise what is really important in life.

They just don't realise how lucky they are x

Don't you feel lucky that you are a lovely, genuine person. Rather than a fake, shallow shell!!

I am so grateful to have you as my friend...I wonder how many people can say that about her!

As the saying goes...we can choose our friends but we can't choose our family! If we could I'd choose you any day x x x
