Im gonna do a meal plan for the rest of the week as im going shopping this afternoon and need some ideas. So at the moment we tend to have:

Spag bol & garlic bread
Chilli & Rice
Hunters Chicken
Pasta
Lasagne
Sundays Dinner
Brunch

I wanna try some new things but Gav doesnt like vegetables or salad which makes it harder to try healthy things.

I also struggle for dinner. Everything i think of tends to revolve around bread - sandwiches, soup, toastie.

Can any1 share some ideas please?

thai green curry is one of our faves at the moment and its not that hard to do yourself

stir fry (although that is veg...?)
sheperds pie?
stew
chilli
risotto
ummmmmm we have quite a lot of boiled or roasted veg then a meat like roast chicken or pork etc... but if Gav doesn't DO veg then I dont know what else you could try lol.

Nope he nearly have a fit the other night cos one of my peas had escaped onto his plate!

We like curry but not thai green so that is out of the questions.

I do like stiry fry and hes not that bad with that tbh as he kinda convinces himself its like chinese haha!!

Id like to make a sheperds pie or a stew but not really sure where to start? Im not the best cook!!

i have found a new love for smoky bbq chicken fahitas ( sp )

we cheat and but the kit then just add chicken and peppers .... they are scrummy x

when I do sheperds pie I dont really cook it in the over lol I cheat cos I can't be assed to wait.

I just fry some mince, buy a bag of mixed veg (I spose you could elave that out) then add tomoato passata or chopped tomatoes then seasoning (I add worcestershire sauce, ketchup and brown sauce) if its too runny I pop some gravy in... then do cheesey mashed potato.

For stew, I ahve a slow cooker so I just literally bung everything int here... normally beef cubed, some potato some carrot some onion or leek mushrooms maybe... anything like that then cover with water and add stock or whatever you fancy and just leave it cook!

oooh yum fajita's are gooooooooood

I may have to invest in a slow cooker hmmmmmmm x
