Well we are aiming to have it gone by crimbo so hey might not be too awful

quick put some glitter on the floor and say the dummy fairy took it,

thats what my sil did with her eldest worked a treat, plus the dummy fairy always brings a nice new teddy bear to go to bed with so she has someone to cuddle. but the child has to pick the bear to make sure its jusssst right....

lol, sorry i just know my sil and bro have been having a battle to get the dummy off their daughter and this is how they did it.

Well she lasted til 2am then was sat up rubbing her eyes and crying so gave it back to her, mind you shes been up since 0545. Grr im fed up of this early morning stuff when will my kid start appreciating lie ins

well you should be proud of her that at least she went to bed without it, tis a start! Im trying to limit caitlin to only having hers when she in her cot for naps or night time sleep. She knows now when i walk into room to put her bedtime bear and dummy down and put her arms up to get lifted.

I'l def be hanging on to the dummy for a while. She still farts about in the mid of night, talking for up to an hr and if the dummy settles her without me having to come in Im all for it!!!
