I have just found out that my boss has slept with one of my best friends (who I also work with).

Here is an email I have just come across (It started with him sending her a picture of bras....):

Him: I would like to see that x
Her: You would love it! x
Him: Don’t I know it…!! It seems a long time since we last got physical!!
Her: I know! I was so nervous too! Don’t think I would be now!

Him: Not sure how to take that…Is that good, bad or indifferent!!?

Her: Its good, don’t know but feel more and more relaxed around you, bizarre I know after the things we did!
Him: Its what I want to do to you again!!?

Im in total shock. I dont know what to do!!!

I have had a feeling that something 'wasnt right' for a while and told Debs that I thought it would happen. But I am just so shocked.

By the way, this is the person who is going to be doing my job while I am on maternity leave... looks like I wont be coming back!

I have copied the email string and sent it to myself - just in case I need it in the future. Naughty, but I have to think of myself.

He has two young children and is married.

Personally I wouldn't say anything just yet, wait and see if she replies that she wants to do it again .

I suppose now Kelly is single she's got nothing to lose. But Ian has a wife and kids that are gonna get hurt, not to mention what will happpen to his little boy bits if shane finds out .

What I don't get is Ian knows you an see his email so why wouldn't he delete it? maybe they want to be found out? If you do tell Kelly you know it's not as if you've hacked his account - maybe just accidentally clicked on his personal section

I have just had to sit with her and train her on our 3 month forecasts.

My heartburn is raging, lol! I just sat here complaining how ill I felt... I just didnt know what to say to her.

The emails are all in one bit for him. He has deleted the last one in his sent bit, where he asked her if she wants to do it again, but the rest are all still there, as they were sent last night.

I knew something was going on... he has been very careful at deleting his emails as soon as they come through and get sent... he just made a big mistake last night!

I have been careful on things I have said to her about work, etc. for a long time, as I did have an idea something would happen. Good job I did!

I know. Well, this is the best bit....

She has a 5 year old son of her own and up until about 3 months ago was happy with her husband.

She left him as she was 'seeing the neighbour' and also 'a dad from her boys school' (sigh) and I had a feeling that my boss was also on that list somewhere.

Anyway, she found out she was pregnant (about 2.5 months ago) and insisted it was her husbands, but he didnt think she was telling the truth, so made her terminate the baby, which she did. Then she left him.

She moved in to her new rented place last week with her little boy.

Jeez, this is too much for a Friday morning!

OMG! It must be like working in a soap opera!!

I really don't know what to say to you! I agree that some women just don't get that you don't poo on your own doorstep, especially with a married man!!! Is it any wonder that us women struggle to get anywhere in this world, it's not men that keep us down, it's the other bloody women!!!!!

I havent said anything to anybody at work... although I wanted to burst, lol!

I have kept the email in my personal emails, so that is safe.

Im so angry at both of them.

I have spoken to him and our HR Dept this morning and moved my maternity leave forward a week. So I now leave on 12th November. I have got 3 days off between now and then, and he has a week off at half term... so I will only have a few more days in the office with him.

Yuck - those emails are cringe worthy! Deffo keep the email in case they do try any dodginess with your job when you come back. Bet you will be glad to be out of there x
