i posted on facebook but just had to share it on here...
today lily-ann stayed standing up holding onto my hands, with no support from me, for about 3-4mins....doesn't seem much but for a Rett girl with basically no use of her hands and no strength in her arms this is such a big thing! am such a proud mummy...she may not be able to do anything a 'normal' child can do but she's such an amazing little girl despite that

she did SO well and stayed up for so long, the physio came in and saw her doing it(she'd come to sort the standing frame) and all she said was 'thats good lily-ann' no proper praise or entheusiasm or owt...lumpy looked so proud of herself though! lol

ahhhhhhh thanks ladies!! i got her doing it again today and i am super proud of her!!!
