Lewis sleeps with us still but will eventually have to share with Harrison. Lewis still wakes for feeds in the night but i am starting to wean him now. Now my question is do i keep him in with us for a bit longer hoping that he will not wake up as much when having a bit more food or put him in with H now and go in and feed him. H does sleep well and dont want to disrupt that but he will have to get used to it. Lewis will not fit in his cot for ever and we have no room for his cot bed x

i think i would give him until the suggested 6months, in that time hopefully he'll stop feeding in the night, and then move him in with harrison and by then hopefully they'll both settle in well together

we moved lewis in with lily-ann at 5months ish and it took them a while but now they if one cries, the other sleeps through it. we also still give lewis a bottle at midnight(he doesn't have one in the day so it's getting him his milk needs) and that sees him right round through until morning

I would deffo keep him in with you. No point in disrupting Harrisons routine. I kept Sam in with us intil he was 11 months and Archie the same for the same reason xx

I agree!! I have the girls in the same room and like me they are light sleepers and it's a nightmare when one wakes up and wakes the other one up and they are both screaming at me!!!!

man i must have it so easy, i feel quilty!

my plan is to have ben in his own room. alasdair is now in garrys room. he would wake a stupid amount of times a night screaming blue murder. i put him in the room with garry and since then he has slept thru and only waking the odd night if he is soaking or has a dream....

id weean the wee one and keep him in with you till you are sure he is sleeping thru the night. mibi start with puttin in him the other room for day time naps in his big cot?? get H used to the idea. then when you are ready and both kids have adjusted to it, then do the switch Smile if that makes sense!

Laura i have done exactly that. Lewis goes for most of his naps in his big cot in H room and i change him in there as well so H is used to seeing him in there. I will hold off a bit longer see how we go. Thanks for advice ladies x
