| I can't even remember that far back!! will go look and see the first time we chatted but might take a while.
I'm not a very good judge of people i get the odd things but i cant pick anything deep up unless i have a in depth conversation with them.
What i have picked up is, your work damn hard at bringing up your kids. your a very very proud mama and i love reading your posts about how proud you are of your kids.
i feel you say what you think/feel a lot more now you did on the other site but during this last year it's like enough of being polite am saying what i really think.
i do feel a little out of the loop with you (if that makes sense) i dont think it does i'm not sure i know what i mean now!! and some other members but then that's my fault as i'm a very guarded person. |

| Right, I haven't read the 6 pages of reply's but.. to me, virtually - you come across as a genuine person, friendly and approachable. A lovely mother, wife and friend - taking into account what i've heard mutual friends say about you . I get the same comments about comming across bossy too, taking charge etc..but am really not like that at all, its just people kind put me in that situation If no one else takes charge then I step in cos I hate dilly-dally'ing |

| God this is turning into a feckin love in isnt it. You all smell funny Ive actually just read the last few pages and im sorry to anyone who ever felt they couldnt approach me either, I think like a few of the other names that have popped up Im a strong character who tends to have a lot to say but its because i feel so at home here and i like each and every one of you even the ones i dont know as well as my 'special' little group (and thats special in every feckin sense of the word) - jen, lisa, mara and meg, my fellow smirchers. If ive ever come across as someone you couldnt talk to please can i try and amend that. I dont really do the mushy shite but you lot ALL rock. |

| Ooh Mario I hope you didn't take offence at me saying I was 'scared' of you :/ I didn't mean you are scary I meant that I have self confidence issues and you all come across as really intelligent and confident and I used to find that a little intimidating - that was down to me not you. To go back to my original analogy I kinda saw you guys (Mara, Jen, Lisa, you etc) as the cool group at school and us geeky kids aspired to be like you. I really hope I'm making some sort of sense here. You are all so witty and genuine and kind and basically everything I would love to be. So if I've offended you I appologise because it wasn't meant to come across that way.
Anyway, since BANDA, I kinda feel more confident in speaking to you guys, and have found you all so lovely. I actually think BANDA has helped me gain a bit of self confidence back and I have you all to thank for that.
Sorry got a bit mushy there but hope you get me?

| Oops - at least I got the move part right! Ahh Yarkshire. Might be over that way in a month or so, up to North Yorks though. Takes blimmin aaaaages - and I'm not the best traveller atm! Glad you're feeling great now - although who on earth tells you you're unapproachable?! You can't be that unapproachable if they can approach you to tell you you're unapproachable... x |

xx Aw deb lol i was Neeeeeeeever cool at school, i was the nerd with glasses and braces on my teeth who got bullied and only had a couple of friends, sat at lunchtimes reading a book, crap at sports the whole lot. Im a total stereotype. I cant complain about it now cos it meant i knuckled down and studied (well til i hit 18 and discovered the pub)and got into the job i did. Ive only really changed since i went into nursing because i have to interact with people i dont know every single day so ive kind of had to learn to be very gregarious and outgoing and developed a very warped sense of humour. Im actually still terrible in social siutations unless i know a large portion of people. On here i can be the person i want to be because its not face to face. If i went to a huge meet id probably still be a bit awkward. But nope i didnt take offence i was worried i had alienated people with my p*ss-assing about. Im glad BANDA makes you feel so good though as it definately does me, my OH is always going on about how often im on here. I also agree with Mara btw we arent the cool group just the certifiable ones. |
