| Just grab him by his snout and tap him on his nose saying -NO! You will have to do this a few times before it eventually sinks in. Right now he thinks its a game and doesn't realize his own strength. Puppies..fun fun fun! |

| Just keep throwing socks for it - it'll soon tire out and go to sleep! |

| puppies are a nightmare they just have to wear themselves out and they'll flop, then wake you up by biting your feet with razor sharp puppy teeth. |

| Lol....ahh Irish Setter...you've no chance. He'll calm down when he's about 4 years old!!
Sorry!
If he's causing you trouble by his madness and you can't shut him safely in another room, put him on the lead for a little while so you at least control him for the time being. Or if you have the time and inclination, start training him as Jen suggested.
Good luck! x |

| I'm sure he'll settle a little more, once he's used to his surroundings.
Where are you putting him tonight? x |

| A cage!!! Why didn't you say that before...there's your answer to his mad moments!! Obvously, if you can get him in the garden to wear him out, that would be a better solution. But if he's going ott and you are that concerned...give him time out! x |

| I had him in the cage while I was sorting hannah. this is his free time and I was trying to eat my dinner. lol. hes kind of calming down so will take him for a mad run in the garden and then get him down for the night |

| We kenneled our dogs at night when they were puppies..otherwise they'd destroy the house. |
