Why do men need you to do everything for them???
OH was up at 6 this morning, leaving for work at 7.15.
He waited until 7am to whinge about work trousers which were in the machine - he knew this as last night he put the sheet in the dryer and I said don't forget your trousers!
He can't find pants,socks and a shirt. They are always in the same place.
Then whinges that he will have to buy lunch.
Seriously how hard is it to make a sandwich, he made a full cooked dinner last night
I like my little lie in in the morning as Flick wears me out and she sleeps til about 7am now. He just expects everything to be done for him, he doesn't understand how hard work Flick is all day x
Grrr..... Fecking useless, now he has gone to work in a massive strop and its all my fault xxx

I have to stand up for my OH here though as he is pretty good in the mornings! He gets up at 5.20am and usually the night before he takes his work stuff downstairs so he doesn't wake me up!

i got up, alasdair bashed me on the head with my book, hardback no less.... had garry dressed, car defrosted and up to the school for 8.15 and back home by 8.20!

stomped out the room and up ended the ironing board, cause it attacked me!!

but it worked, came back and the lounge was squared up, alasdair was in the bath and he had the dishes in the sink.... he is now off to morrisons to get me some bits..

p.s... going back on the happy pills. i know this behaviour isnt acceptable

My oh leaves about 7am too and its a pain in the bum, even tho i make his lunch the night before He always faffs about looking for clothes!

My OH would be like this too but thankfully (in ways) he doesnt stay here during the week so I only get up in the mornings when Caitlin does. Today it was 930am ! To be fair I suppose the odd time he has stayed on a work night he hasnt disturbed me too much, getting ready in bathroom/living room.

I think men just expect us to be like second mums to them at times. I frequently threaten Stuart that im not going to lift a finger for a week just to show him how much I do. He seriously believes I sit on my arse all day and that just because he clears up after dinner and puts rubbish out he runs the house . Eh who does washing, cleans the bathroom, dusts, hoovers, mops, sorts clothes out, bleaches place? The fairies???
Ever notice how when men are looking after kids thats all they can do, but yet when we have them during the day and dont get a chance to do something they ask why not?

Seriously tempted to go on strike .....

i hate that excuse! i couldnt get the hoozering done cause i was runing after the kids. erm well i manage.. then u get the sarcastic, well im not as good as u remarks lol!

Oooooh yea the "I'm not as good as you" comments I know that one and the "well you're better at it than me". I went out for a day on my own a few weeks back and left the 2 of them with hubby what was done when I got back? Well, the baby was fed and changed but not bathed, MJ had no dinner there was crap everywhere and he "didn't get time" I do it 8 hours every day mon- fri and I get time lol. I think men think we've got magic powers or something pmsl xx

well my rant at him paid off!1 he bought me a new 32in lcd for my bedroom lol! technically its for my birthday.

Last week my OH remarked in front of his friend "maybe you shouldnt go to the shop and buy a dessert, have you forgotten you could barely squeeze into that dress last week".
Well I huffed, excused myself went to bed and cried. He came in and apologised saying he was joking. I told him I was just tired & cranky and to forget it, but I knew that he had meant it.
The next day he came in from work and I heard a rustle, I thought feck more garage flowers.... nope a ltr of vodka . It made me smile. Need to have a party now, though I did swear 2 weeks ago I was never drinking again

LOL! That doesn't work in this house! I may need to go psycho on him tho..stink eye and verbal threats don't even phase him anymore!
