A few people have said to me that you are not supposed to go out to trick or treat on a Sunday so they are going on sat insted I am really confused as to what to do now
if I go on sat and no one is ready for it then I have wasted my time but if I go on sun what if I have missed it ???

Never heard that before. I will be expecting trick or treaters on Sun x

I have looked online and im not sure either.

We are going to take Aimee to the grandparents on Sunday so she can do it (dressed as a pumpkin).

my mil is havin halloween party for kids on sat so ill take evan there and on sun ill take him trick or treatin around family

It shouldnt make a difference as halloween isnt celebrated in certain religions (regardless of day) if that makes sense...?

Oh!! I'd never heard of this either! We are going on Sunday. We always get the grumpy ol' farts whenever we go so there'll be no change there. All people need to do is put a polite notice on their door and we don't knock.

OOOO a couple of years ago I had this ol' bat who slung a load of verbal abuse at me and my kids out of her (upstairs) window. I don't do tricks but boy I wish I could have done something to her. Honestly she was f'ing and blinding in front of my kids the wicked witch !

I don't know why some people have to be so mean about it like you sat a polite note or slot of people round our turn the lights off or just shut the curtans there is no need to abuse people it Is for the kids at the end of the day x

We just dont answer the door and they soon walk away - this is normally because I forget to get anything in though and dont think the kids would appreciate fruit round my way
HUbby was never allowed to 'celebrate' Halloween the first time he had been out on Halloween night was with me and he was 23!!!!

My mum still does us all a party now - last year she did one for Hannah, she does all sorts of funny food bless her, like witches fingers and eye balls in jelly and stuff like that. I was one of five so we had more than enough between us to have a party and then used to go out to our neighbours that my mum had always asked, I think when Hannah and bubba 2 are older I will do the same sort of thing

i dont answer my door on halloween tho, not because im mean lol but because its not young kids we get at our door its stupid teenagers the only young kid on our street is my nxt door neighbours wee boy who is 6 so i hand in a wee bag of goodies for him and jst take evan round family

i usually go to a pary of somesort on holloween, think this year we will be going to a maize maze near us so should be goo then will go round my mums and take boys trick or treating. im never in on holloween so dont bother buying anything in anyway xx

I've got all my decorations inside downstairs in the basement..tonight I am suppose to do battery checks and adapter checks... and start setting up audio for the window display. Ironing some white sheets for the windows and changing the bulbs to red in Maddy's room and Maky's room. Looks like the weather may be nice for this weekend! Gonna make a crock pot full of hot mulled wine with cranberry's and some bailey's & hotchocolate!
