A savage garden album reminds me of having a crush on my friend (a guy!). He stole it off his older sis and gave it to me for my bday. We were best friends in secondary but clearly nothing was going to happen - he was mr cool who always had a hot girlf that hated me
and I was his agony aunt
Take That remind me of being in primary school. The Killers Mr Brightside reminds me of uni.
Sineaid OConnor - nothing compares to you reminds me of my granny dying/being ill
. Its meant to be a song about a break up but the words mean something different to me. Its makes me think of how long she's been gone and how nothing can replace her. She was ill for years & mum cared for her when I was a teen so I took advantage of my freedom... the words say about being able to eat dinner in a fancy restraunt and put arms around everyboy I see but nothing compares to you (Basically I can go out & party etc but Id have prefered my granny) It makes sense in my head
