I saw in a post by Mara that she smokes. And you know you have an image of people in your head i didnt think Mara smoked (sorry Mara lol)

So just wondered who else smokes?


I used to smoke, but gave up when i met Trev. but was still socially smoking. then as soon as i found out i was pregnant with Rowan i stopped and i'll never smoke again.

Any ways again who smokes?

I used to smoke quite heavily, then gave up about 6 years ago, then started again when I split up with my husband, I then gave up again when I found out I was pregnant and although I still could quite easily smoke, I don't think I'd go back on them now

i used to smoke alot! gave up when i was preg with munch! even thou i still get cravings sometimes i wouldnt start again!

I smoked 6 or more years ago (gave up when my best friend got preggers - she sadly lost her son 1 month after having him and kind of makes me never want to start again as he was the reason I dont smoke - if that makes sense)
I wasnt a big smoker tho so found it dead easy to quit, I just stopped one day, I was more social down the pub smoker on a fri/sat night (granted we used to get through 60 fags some nights as 2 couples lol) but I never smoked in day when at work and if it was raining when I got home or too cold I didnt bother as I never smoked in house

when a drink is involved i could smoke a whole pack of 20 !!

im really gutted as i gave up as soon as i found out i was pg with theo and didnt smoked again until he was around 6ish weeks old on my first night out .

i think i could stop again , but i do enjoy a wee puff at the end of the day x

I gave up smoking when I was pregnant but started again after Ollie was born

I stopped when I found out I was having ellie. I hope not to smoke again but if I get upset I smoke!

i dont smoke, my dad used to smoke like 100 a day he was a total chainsmoker and it put me off for life!! although he has now given up altogether one day he jst stopped and that was that - im so glad!
my oh hates smokin to funny tho cos his whole family smoke!

i smoked pre pregnancy and a little bit thru pregnancy =o( but quit before he was born and now i only smoke if drink is involved and i know i wont be with my kids after for at least like 5/6 hours!

i have been an on/off smoker for a long long time - gave up as soon as i knew i was pregnant (although i had only been smoking for a month after giving up for a year ) and i still have one now and then late at night (after eli was maybe 2 months old) - its terrible but it sort of helps me feel like 'me' not just the new me/mummy i am now weird.

i smoke, i quit immediatly with both pg started at 13 weeks after having Alice and with the stress of the parent situation started about a week ago with Edith however i am only having abot 3 per day and i am timing it so its after a feed and whilst she is sleeping. still nothing to be proud of but i honestly found it much harder whilst pg this time not to smoke.

for at least the last month of being pregnant i could have quite easily killed for a fag!

would just like to add. there is no shame in smoking.

just wanted to point out this post was about you have an image of someone in your head like their accent etc and when you hear, see different you like really?!!

im a smoker ! ,,, i have stopped and started several times though
i stopped a few months back and after a very rare night out just me and OH we started again

i plan to start my stop again at bed time tonight ,, i like to do it cold turkey

i am a smoker im sorry to dsay i found it very hard to give up when pregnant due to other stresses such as losing my job and marc suspended all in one day when i was 8 weeks then the money worries i eventually quit when i was 20ish weeks but then started again about a week after i gave birth i wont ever smoke in front of her and i will never push her pushchair or hold her hand and smoke x

Nope I don't smoke, never would.
My grandad died because of it and also my aunt passed away at only 42 from lung cancer.
Just not worth the risk to me as it seems to be common in my families.
I don't have a problem with people smoking, I just wouldn't do it myself.

im the same with drinking - i believe everyone has at least one 'thing' they battle with throughout their lives - mine is smoking but i never would have a drink again in my life...for others its different things i think in some ways its healthy to just accept that rather than battle away innit

I used to smoke (a lot = 20+ a day)....and tbh i dont know how I feel about it now! I gave up before getting pg with Isla, and then had a few weeks of smoking when she was about 6mths old.

I hate the fact that I have put on a huge amount of weight since I have stopped (3 stone), but glad I dont have the financial 'need' because I hated 'having' to buy them daily.

I miss how they used to make me feel....it sounds daft but I could take myself into the garden for 5 minutes and just let my mind wander.

I enjoyed smoking, and I hate being fat!

I don't smoke and have never even tried it.

I think it's a personal choice and have never had the inclination.
