Ive never bothered with this as c was eating a good amount and variety plus 20oz cows milk a day

But with the way she is lately im considering getting a tin of 1 year plus formula to try for a few weeks as a top up. Think id still give cows milk am but possibly some formula at night.

Whats ppls thoughts on this? Or shud i just stick to the cows milk and chuck some multivits down her neck? And any reccomendations for either

I dont use it as tried it and Lily spat it out in disgust

I make her smoothies from orange, strawb, rasps etc to make sure she gets some vitamins and have got some vit tablets but keep forgetting them. TBH i think i am being sucked in by marketing that plays on my fears of her getting blloming scurvy or something when in reality i am sure they will be just fine!!

When Moo was 1ish we'd started him on the cows milk but his eating habits went like C's so we moved him back to toddler milk for a bit (alot to do with my shear paranoia that something bad would happen lol)

Are you still giving the Ella's kitchen pouches etc? I would maybe try the smoothies like Kate said and get some multivits aswel but am sure she's getting what she needs..even if she does fill up on sausages (she sounds like my Moo lol)

I've always been a bit anaemic, so I worry for Izzy - thats why she has morning and night milk as the Hipp 4 Toddler milk - 500ml gives them plenty so I know she is safe with what she gets even if she is picking

Yes zee still giving ellas kitchen pouches at snacktime. Def seems to help get veg and vits into her. Might get one of the cow and gate bedtime milk packs as its a bit smaller so not so much of a waste if she refuses it. She wont drink the ready made stuff, never has. Ive got some halib orange vits i might try her with too, just wanna top her up til shes over all these bugs, ive tried smoothies before and she wot entertain the idea though will get some strawbs and try again.

Lol Zee at sausages. Even on a day when she wont eat a single other thing i can always count on a sausage, if i let her she would live on sausages, bread, cheese and mash potato

Oh god I didn't even think about vits etc. for Libby She has been eating very very well the last couple of weeks but I think I might get her some anyway.

Im stuck with this too. Caitlin still taking nutramigen 2 (hypo-allergenic formula for 6mth+). She cant take cows milk full stop and rice/soya milk isnt nutritionally adequate for under 2's. There is a soya based baby formula that I can get in boots, need to check for sure its toddler milk though, no point switching if it 6mth + too.

Is 6mth+ formula more fatty/calories than toddler milk? She eats well so iv no worries, in fact id worry she was getting too much if she sticks to 6mth formula... My friends mum is a nurse and said just to put her on alpro soya and give her vitamin drops & ensure she eats a youghurt etc at lunch & she will be fine on it.

The milk she on atm is free which is a big bonus. Hmmm dont know what to do, basically talking out loud. Does anyone think I should just change to alpro soya? Is it weird to be making 6mth+ formula for a 15mth old?

Well ive gotten her some boots vitamins with omega 3 in em today and some hipp bedtime milk, its 6 plus with some cereal in it so if she likes it maybe it might also help her sleep and give her some extra vits and calories. Guess can only see how it goes. Managed to clear boots out between vits, milk, a new thermometer, calcium/magnesium for me (ta lisa m), saline drops (ta zee) and nelsons teetha which c chewed her way into the box before i even got to the counter

How did you get on with the bedtime milk? Was considering trying it with L when hes 6 months as he has Hipp milk.
H has toddler milk, he doesnt really like cows milk so he has 2/3 cups a day x

Its a bit like milkshake amanda, def wudnt use it in the daytime. She drank about 3 or 4 ounces last night which is less than normal but shes not been taking as much of her bottles as usual anyway at the mo so 4 ounces of that is still better n nothing so gonna stick with it for now. So shes having cows milk 1st thing, some cows milk with nesquik at lunch and the formula at bedtime plus a spoonful of abidec multivits with omega 3 so feel a bit better about what shes eating...or not eating as the case is at moment
