AS I remembered from last time, Lillie was always wet and had the most awful nappies had to change her after every feed.

but Hollies is hardly wet or dirty. Im lucky to have one dirty nappy a day. havnt had one at all today and didnt really have one yesterday.

I thought if BF they were more likely to be dirty than formula fed babies?? I do get wet nappies dont me wrong or I would be worried, but Im only having to change her few times a day. This normal???? thanks x x

heya - me again haha i would say not to worry really i think so long as you are getting 7 wet nappies per 24 hours (or thereabouts) you are fine.
when he was very little elijah only poo'd every 3 or 4 days for a long time, going as long as 8 days which freaked me out but nobody cared and the h.v and g.p both said until its two weeks its fine!
elijah will still go from anything between 2 poos a day and 1 poo in 4 days and it doesnt seem to matter what i eat - i know lots of people find their baby poos after each feed but elijah has never been that way and my various health visitors, midwives etc were not concerned at all. every baby is different

until I put Ava onto solids she did a maximum of one dirty nappy a day and would sometimes go for days at a time without one. As long as she's having wet nappies I wouldn't worry.

I worried about this with Hannah too hun. Thomas would have 3-4 dirty nappies a day at first (even now at least 2 a day ) so when Hannah came along doing 1 a day and sometimes less I worried a bit but apparently it's normal - Thomas is just a stinker!

i think all mummies worry when they are bf as you cant really tell exactly (or even vaguely if youre me) how much milk your baby is getting - like debs says hopefully the mw will be helpful
