Well this week I have a marathon of hospital appointments!! Have my anathestetic (sp-Baby brain) review tomorrow, then Tuesday I have a growth scan with the consultant and on Wednesday its my consultant appointment and hopefully then I will get a date for a c-section!!! If bubs is still breech!! Although I am considering asking for one even if he isn't as the more I think about it the more I realise I don't think I can go through what I did with Aron again!

I have got a lot of water too which my AFI measures at 23cm.

Mine from 33 weeks are:

HC - 322.0
AC - 311.1
FL - 65.5

I have got lots of water too and my AFI is 23.9cm

I have another scan tomorrow so will add my measurements from that one too!!

Today was my anaesthetic review and all went well and she has agreed that a general will be a last resort!! Which is good!

So scan tomorrow and then hopefully we can get a section date on wednesday!! Although I have just scared the pants off myself that this little monkey could be here in 3 weeks time!!!!!!!!!!! eeeeeeekkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk!!!

I am 35 weeks tomorrow so if they give me a section at 38 weeks that is 3 weeks!!!!!!!

Grace, the numbers make more sense when you see 2 lots together like mine and Laura's! Will put tomorrows up too when I get them! Scan is booked for 12! It makes me laugh though people telling me what a big baby I am going to have yet one of the mums at school didnt even realise I am pregnant!

I have banned myself from buying anything else til he is here!

Are you having a section because you have had a previous section?

They are just talking about giving me a strech and sweep at 38 weeks and then inducing me... im seeing them again next Wednesday so may find out more x

Laura he is still breech which is one of the reasons for a section, the other is that I had an awful birth with Aron and am sure the cock ups at his birth have contributed to his autism thing, so I asked about it! They said if Rhys is still breech when I see the consultant on wednesday they were fine doing a section, if he isn't then we are going to discuss it with them!! He was still breech on friday when I saw MW and I am 100% sure he hasn't moved!

Susan, 2 weeks til half way! Bet you cant wait!!

Had my scan today and his growth is ok and fluid ok now! He doesn't seem to have grown much in the last 2 weeks and I have been booked in for another scan in 2 weeks time just to keep an eye on everything! He has also turned so isn't breech anymore but the consultant still agreed I should have a section in 2 or 3 weeks which they will book tomorrow!

Rhys's measurements today at 35 weeks are (33 weeks in brackets) :-

HC - 329.7mm (322.0mm)
AC - 316.1mm (311.1mm)
FL - 66.9mm (65.5mm)
Estimated weight is 5lb 15oz (5lb 9oz)

Amniotic fluid is 16.9cm (23.9cm)

So tomorrows update should include my section date!! Ekk I am so scared and excited at the same time!!

Sorry for the delay in updating! I was totally knackered when I finally got home last night!!

We got to hospital at 9.30am (appointment at 10.10am) and didn't get seen til gone 11.30am and MW did the urine and bp checks and my bp was up, so she said she would check me again at the end of the appointment! Saw the consultant and she agreed to book me in for section but she was adamant that 39 weeks is the soonest they would do it! But I am not going to go into that rant at the moment!! Will do that one when less tired!! Well I signed all the consent forms etc and went through all details so section is booked for 1st DECEMEBER!!

Went to leave and MW remembered to recheck bp which was even higher, so they decided they wanted to monitor me and take bloods and see what was happening! So had bloods done and went to the monitoring bit! Bloods were sent urgent to labs via special porter at 12.45 and LOST!!! Grrrr! They phoned to chase results at 2.45 and found out my bloods had been lost even though they went with another ladies, whose didn't get lost!! So had to have more blood taken! Even when I left at 4.40 they still hadn't got my results back so if any problems there are supposed to be ringing me back today!

My BP was still high so they have put me on meds for it for 2 weeks and have to see my community MW tomorrow for a bp check and then back to the hospital for another check on 10th Nov!

My average bp yesterday was 149/99 and I have been checking it on my home monitor too and last measurement was 149/104! What monitors does everyone else use as my MW keeps saying my monitor isn't very accurate!

how the chuff can they lose one lot of blood out of two?! Is there a vampire on the wards?! What's the point in having an 'urgent' system Arrrghh annoyed for you!

Did the say whether the results would make any difference to their being "adamant" of you not having section before 39 weeks? I.e. could it mean sooner depending on results?

Have a good rest up now... mummy to a newborn in less than a month xx

Sorry that's me they didn't lose the 2nd lot, well they hadn't when I left yesterday and were going to call me in if they needed too!

I am guessing if I head towards having pre eclampsia then they will do the section earlier! I will have a chat with my MW tomorrow when I see her!

Ahhh I see what ya mean now!!

I am going to leave it to tomorrow when I see MW and see what she thinks about chasing bloods! She is pretty good so trust her judgement! Well to a certain extent anyway!!

Argh you have a date so exciting! Hopefully if you bp stays up they'll do it a little bit earlier though, less than a month xx

Aww hun, at least they have given you a date of 1st December now, so its something to work towards.

I have got a growth scan on 10th, so hopefully we will have some good news together xx
