| He has now passed away...its been a long time coming really.
It was the 5th October I posted to say he was in hospital - since then he hasn't eaten, and for a couple of weeks now he hasn't drunk water either. He was on the Liverpool Care Plan, so no tube for feeding wither, just pain relief...how he lasted this long I have no idea.
My mum saw him last night and he went at 4am, so he hopefully knew she was there for him. |

| Sorry for your loss Lisa. My granny died in a similar way & it took alot longer than anticipated. I took some comfort in the fact that she was no longer in pain and was at total peace. Im sure he knew he was loved. Death can be harder for the ones left behind.... x |
