hmmm so for about a week eli has had a red spot on his scrotum - it doesn't seem to bother him if i touch it and doesn't feel lumpy or anything - i have put bepanthen on it and sudocrem as i thought maybe it had been squished during the night or something but to no avail, it's still bright red in exactly the same place (maybe 0.5cm circle).

do i need to take him to his doctor? i would feel silly for such a little thing but its just quite weird, we have the h.v on tuesday, would they be the right person to mention it to? or does it sound like a doctor thing? i feel really irresponsible for thinking it isnt really serious...when it might be

tbh id carry on with the creams and ask hv on tuesday, anf if she thinks gp needs to see it then she'll say.
i remember Scott was about 10 months old, i took his nappy off ready for a bath and on the side of his penis was a huge white lump, it was under the foreskin, and about the size of a bubblegum - as you can imagine on a 10 months old it looked huge!!!!
so i paniked and took him to A&E and they didnt seem concerned in the slightest!
they did no tests or anything, they just said they not too sure what it is, gave him some anti-bs just in case it was an infection, and that was it, it gradually went down, and as far as i know isnt there any more - not that ive looked very closly for a while seeing as he is nearly 8! lol!
but the point im tryna make is not to panic too much, i duna if your the same as me, but my son was the 1st little boy i had ever had to deal with lol, so i did worry about what was normal and if everythin was right down there lol

looks the same still - the skin is so kind of loose (cos of nice warm nappies haha) that i can't feel if theres anything under the skin but he doesnt seem bothered at all so it isnt sore! will speak to hv on tuesday like you say but he is really laid back and probably wont bother. i suppose if i thought it was serious i would have rung the g.p this week but its more strange than really worrying

didn't mention it to hv as of course (!) it was all better on tuesday so i thought hm must have just been skin irritation, its back today (hahaha naturally!) but i will just keep a further eye on it and make sure nappies are loose on that side for now hm!
