Well Sophia is 11 months old 2day and she wont roll over I dont know whether to be worried or not as she is sitting shuffling just started to weight bear (when she chooses to which is no that often)

The HV came round today for her check up and suggested getting her referred to a peadiatrition (sp) So any bum shufflers did they roll over or not ?????????????//

heya im not sure but i thought it would be nice if someone replied! haha, elijah isn't showing much interest in rolling over, he will go onto his side or wait til he is sitting up and sort of throw himself into a crawling position then lie on his tummy waving his arms and legs around - but then he is quite a bit younger than sophia. i hope you get some answers, it must be quite worrying but at least she is going to get referred to someone who might be able to shed some light on it

She said it will take about 6 - 8 weeks for an app tusk!! So I guess we will just have to wait and see what the "experts" say

yeah, thats ages to wait i bet its well into new year - you never know she might have started by then! i had a friend who's son never crawled just went from sitting to walking on hands and feet then to walking upright, i think lots of babies just have their own ideas on what to do!

i haven't got any personal experience hun but I wouldn't worry some babies never roll, maybe she's destined to be a shuffler.

My son was one of them babies that never rolled He was cruising from 10 mth, was able to pull himself up on furniture..but he didn't crawl till 12mth - it was then when he started rolling

Looking back I had it easy when it came to nappy changes lol. Tbh I really wouldn't worry, she's starting to cruise and is shuffling too so i'm quite sure the rolling will come eventually. xxx
