Just wondering if your babies are/were very 'vocal'?

Thomas wasn't/isn't - he has never really said much and even now he's fairly quiet and doesn't say much unless he is having a tantrum.

Hannah on the other hand - OMG!!! the girl never shuts up! Shocked Laughing from 6.30 in the morning when she insists on being awake she starts 'talking' and doesn't stop (apart from bottles and naps) untill 7.30 bedtime Rolling Eyes. Bless her she is gonna be your typical little chatterbox! I can see already she is gonna drive me nuts Vocal Baby 2984

It amazes me how different my children are already I love you

xx

ava babbles all the time, past few mornings she's started babbling and blowing raspberries at 4.30am and even though I'm shattered, we can't help but laugh at her.

Caitlin was a very babbly baby from about 4 months. She still wakes up to talk to the wall at 3/4am, occassionally I freak myself out that she is talking to a ghost- particularly the night she kept saying 'jaaccck' and then laughing.

She can now say a few words (yea, no, mama, dada, shoe, cat etc) and does go off in rants in hebrew/russian that I cant understand Laughing but she isnt talking as well as I had anticiapted she would. I was sure she would be an early talker but id say she is average.

Its cute that she can answer yes or no... but only if she wants to eg Do you want some toast 'yea!' Do you want to give mummy a hug - blank stare... Rolling Eyes

Basically in Caitlins case a babbly baby doesnt mean a toddler that talks early/well. (Though suppose Caitlin still a bit young to judge fully) x

eli squeals and giggles and raspberries - he wants to talk to you all of the time, but he also stares at the ceiling (especially if he's just finished eating) and holds long conversations with it including laughing and getting annoyed, which is really weird, i have decided he is talking to his great grandma! cos otherwise it would be a bit creepy...
