my aunt is one of they people who say things indirectly to you through your children. she picks up hannah for me a few days a week and today it was "now hannah I need tell your mum to put a hat, scarf and gloves on you in the morning as its winter now" my reply "well if you looked on her coat peg you would have seen a hat scarf and gloves on there" ffs why cant she just have an adult conversation with me about it.

she hasnt said anything in so long. when she does I come home thinking that she must think im such a bad mum. it makes me feel so crap.

yep. so really I should have replied "well hannah we will need to tell that twit that shes left your hat, scarf and gloves in your nursery and thank goodness you have another set for the morning"

What an idiot, though im surprised the nursery didnt give them to her.

My MIL was going on the other day about whether Caitlin owned any gloves as its getting cold and told me she needs them as she likes to wave at people in town... eh she needs them because its cold, not because she likes to wave . MIL is obsessed with taking Caitlin walks, regardless of weather she walks her around the streets- attention seeking imo.
Obviously Caitlin owns gloves, was just a weird way of asking for me to send them to hers.
