my brother, his wife and their two girls came to visit for the kids party this weekend gone

well on the train home their youngest( 2 1/2) was a royal terror, shouting, hitting, crying, punching, biting, trying to steal other passengers food etc

well they actually had the cheek to ask me if i can give them some of lily-ann's melatonin for the next trip up!!!!!

when i said no they said 'oh well, i'll have to buy some sleeping pills then'

i don't think they were joking!

I dont even know what to say to that

I know!!! We all sometimes joke about the giving the kids meds for a good nights sleep...but to actually being serious about it!! I really feel for those poor girls

OMG thats seriously bad \i know my friend bought some stuff to make her 2 year old sleep when she travelled home for a holiday but I thinks thats slightly different they were flying to oz

this is a 2 1/2 hour from kings x to leeds...not the same really! lol

they seemed p*ssed cos i said no...it took us 3weeks to decide whether the risks of giving it to lily-ann were worth it(it can increase epileptic fits) so for them to just callously wanna drug up their kid is disgusting

Knowing what poor Lumpy has to face on a daily basis I can't beleive they'd have the cheek to ask you! You'd give anything for her to be able to play up on a train!

before lily-ann had tried rolling over, fallen out of bed bashing her face up and couldn't move until we got in to pick her up...a week or so after my brother commented that i was lucky lily-ann couldn't climb out of bed like his toddler did...i swear they are the most insensitive people ever!

he's an ok guy in general but just doesn't think before he speaks...won't even go into the 'vegetables in wheelchairs' comment!!!

i only have to see him once a month so he's bearable! lol

cant they do what other parents do and plan the trip with a few treats, toys, entertainment.... i travelled all the way from glasgow to manchester with ben, alasdair and garry and never had a peep from any of them, simply cause they were kept entertained/distracted... and slept half that way!
