| two quick questions that should be in the wedding section but i kinda wanted opinions quickly as we're ordering invites tonight... 1. do you think we really need RSVP cards? 2. would it be cheeky to ask for money instead of gifts as we've lived together for 3yrs already...and to add a poem in with a request of cash towards a honeymoon?? opinions appreciated! |

| I just told ppl to rsvp to my phone/email etc Wedidnt ask for money but my cuz did and no one was offended. Or say there is no need for gifts as you have everything for the house but there will be a wishing well for any donations for honeymoon if anyone can spare |

| 1. No, people will send back their own acceptance cards. 2. Its fine to ask for money hun, we were in the same boat, we added a little poem in the invitation too xxx |

| I have never received an rsvp card and have been to loads of weddings recently so would save your cash. Deffo ok to ask for money in my opinion xx |

| I sent out RSVP cards but i made my own invites and RSVP's We also asked for money we included a little poem about how we lived together so already had all pots and pans blah blah blah, we did still get some presents but most gave us the money xx i can make you some nice simple ones for cheap hun lol x |

| oh no susie!! i've just this minute ordered the invites and then came on here to see that message!!! lol i got 50 invites and poems for £65 delivered so not as bad as it could have been i guess! |

| hun, i do invites, but dont have printer so couldnt help at the moment.
but rsvps put an email, telephone number or address people send them back and to be honest you will be chasing alot of them.
and money is fine, thats what we did |
