santa I was wondering what was the budget going to be and what date are the parcels going to be posted? Also if people could post what things they are into/ hobbies etc.... it might make it easier for people who don't know the person they are buying for. I think I know a bit about the person I am buying for and already know what I'm getting for them. My personal budget is £15 but I was wondering what the general consensus was xxx

I think it was agreed the budget was £5 plus then postage on top.

Dont know when the posting date is. Im guessing not for a cpl of weeks yet. I wouldnt mind posting up what I like but it might be more fun getting something random Very Happy

21/12/10 is the last posting date 1st class in the uk

18/12/10 is the last posting date 2nd class in the uk

The person who has Jen last postage date to canada is 10/12/10 by airmail ,

The person who has Leanne last postage to denmark is 13/12/10 by airmail

i know you are both super efficient so it wont be a problem Wink

Other postal services you can find the dates here http://www2.royalmail.com/christmas-last-posting-dates?tid=396&x=53&y=11

Thank-you Lisa :0) I'll defo be posting before the postage cut off date. I came up with a sort of random idea, if the person is on facebook, have a look a their profile and their "likes" see we can get some sort of idea as to what to get them :0)

I hope so, maybe when everyone has confirmed they've got theirs. Maybe even a guess who ours is from? (obvious if there is a Danish or Canadian postmark lol) x x x

I think to get around the postmark is if you order something online then get it sent direct to the person you are buying for. Most companies ask for a billing address and a delivery address Very Happy That is the only way I can think of to get around that x x

I promise I won't look at the postmark! I love surprises! But have figured a way to send the gift without any names attached. I am ordering my person's gift from a store over there online, and am requesting that all my info be kept secret due to the circumstances. Most stores are very accommodating. xxx

It would be so much easier if it was buy the LO's. We all talk so much about what they are in to/up to etc but rarely what we like.

Nice that mummys get spoilt for a change though Very Happy
