| Love the blocks hun, as part of the 8 month check up they ask them to bang two blocks together so he can get practicing when he gets them I would get things that will come in handy between xmas and his 1st birthday ( ). A walker of some sort would be good - Thomas has the vtech one and I can't recommend it enough - he still plays with it eeryday now and he's been walking over 12 months . Board books are always a winner - especialy touchy feely ones like the 'thats not my' range. Toys to encourage crawling - balls etc. some sort of cot toy to replace the mobile if he is getting a bit bored of that by now - plus he will soon start to pull himself up on the sides of his cot so if he is anything like Thomas (god help you ) he will be swinging off the mobile and dismantling it and throwing it across the room in no time xx |

| amazing, thanks! hubby has ordered a ball and a couple of other activity things and eli is still too short for the jumperoo (and freaks out on it, i will persevere and get it out again in a few weeks!)
i really like the train carla, i might have a look around and see if i can get it on offer
we have a rainforest thing for the cot which has moving bits inside and lights/music - he still loves the mobile but you're right, if he could reach it it would have had it by now, the only reason the rainforest thing (thing - cant think of the word) is still there is cos its well attached haha |

| eli has a couple of little duckies for the bath but prefers the sponge and his bath mat (i am just running off to save him again as he is back on his tummy and making a bid for freedom!) john ordered a soft ball, some stacking cups and a wooden play cube thing on sale at mothercare - i really like the alphabet blocks though...i have now ordered http://www.elc.co.uk/Fisher-Price-Chase-and-Race-Ramps/126109,default,pd.html and that will almost certainly do!
he is getting quite bored with chicky and elephant which is a shame haha i still love them! |
